Description

A course designed to provide the prospective teacher with a functional knowledge of the computer and how to infuse technology in the classroom. It also encompasses a variety of current technologies and media applications for specific instructional designs in curriculum development and classroom presentations as well as the evaluation, selection, and use of technological materials and equipment. Additionally, a working knowledge of programming
and software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, and PowerPoint is included. Prerequisite: one unit of high school typing.
