Educational Psychology (W) (ED 200)
Term: 2021-22 Summer Term
A study of the nature of teaching and learning, which addresses the fundamentals involved in the expected developmental progression of the learning process. The course focuses on ways in which psychological knowledge is applied to teaching at each domain (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive) as individual characteristics that influence instructional decisions. Additionally, it includes an investigation of theories of learning and motivation and their instructional applications in educational settings. Prerequisites: EN 112, PY 101 or SO101, and ED 130.
